Casa Alba is a Boutique Bed & Breakfast in the hills of Benissa. Our unique location is situated between two villages creating a spectacular 360 view. We are surrounded by the luscious vineyards of Xaló, the countryside and the unspoiled, turquoise waters of the Costa Blanca. Casa Alba is just 1 hour driving distance from International airports Alicante and Valencia.
We intimately offer only four total accommodations keeping your visit personal and peaceful. We offer two casitas with private terrace in the garden and two rooms with en-suite bathrooms in the finca. A separate entrance in the finca leads towards the rooms on the first floor, which makes these rooms ideal to book for groups traveling together.
All are designed with care by us. To create a modern Mediterranean style, we utilize natural materials and warm colours make you feel instantly at home. All our rooms are suitable for two people only with no possibility to add an additional bed or baby cot. Dogs are unfortunately not allowed.
The large natural garden offers plenty inviting spaces and a large pool, ideal to switch off and enjoy tranquility. Take a swim in the pool, enjoy the amazing views or take a nap under the olive tree. Feel more active? Simply step outside the gate and venture on one of the many trails in the area. Feel more like a local? Take a 6 minutes drive to the first village for a "cortado" or a "caña" (the smallest size of draft beer) and stroll down the vintage and food markets. Or, unplug and unwind. It's up to you!
Our Spanish adventure started with one question... What was our quality of life in Amsterdam? Yes, we had a very good life but very fast. Too fast to make us truly happy. After 18 years in fashion, hospitality and design, it was time for a change of life. We were craving for a clear, calm and present state of mind but were not clear on how, when and where. We wanted the freedom to be truly happy and creative.
In 2014, we began road tripping throughout Spain to see if this itch could become real life. We explored from Sevilla to Malaga and all the way to Valencia. Then, four years later we discovered the amazing Marina Alta area and fell in love instantly. We found our new home, but the search for a new house with B&B potential was challenging. We carried a huge list of requirements to find the perfect place. A few months later we found the spot, and after seven months of ups and downs we finally received the keys. The house was abandoned for a few years and needed a lot of love and work. Nine months later we were ready to open our gate.
A different pace of life, back to awareness and back to a creative mindset. Done. This truly is our happy place. With Casa Alba we would like you to experience a perfect place to simply enjoy the mind-blowing present.
